The GATE 2013 scorecard will be used by about 15 Public Sector Units (PSUs). 15 Public Sector Units (PSUs) have signed a MoU with IIT Bombay to receive the official GATE 2013 results across various papers for employment screening purposes.
The companies which use GATE results for employment purposes include Concor, BHEL, National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC).2, 02,223 candidates appeared for the Computer based online exam while 9, 98,505 candidates appeared for the offline exam.
The results of GATE 2013 were declared on March 15, 2013. Deepa Rajagopalan a 22 year-old student of Sastra University has topped the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2013.
